We bought a house. It's what some might call a fixer-upper. It had everything we wanted. Old wires and plumbing, no insulation, a mostly unfinished basement, a bathroom that smelled funny, a kitchen that had no appliances and a broken sink, walls that needed several coats of paint, and a yard that might take us years to fix. This is a rare picture of us far away from our house - taking a few days not to think about our next project.
Long before we met we knew that some sort of fixer-upper was in our future. Me, because I like projects. Hubby, because he's an architect and likes to build cool things. We don't agree on everything. I like vintage. He likes modern. Somehow we've found a way to meet in the middle. And with the help of our family and friends, we're making a home that we love.
